It's Flower Time Again

One of my favorite things to photograph is flowers. I think it's fairly obvious from my website.
Spring marks a point of renewal, new birth. What better way to introduce the season than, what else, flowers?
As we all know, flowers grow year round. Each season has its own blossoms, But Spring heralds the end of short, dark, cold, often snowy days (if you live in the North). Personally, I love those short, dark, cold, often snowy days when I can snuggle under a thick, warm blanket watching my favorite movies. But that's a subject for another time.
With magnolia and cherry trees in bloom, forsythias awash in gold, the ground is swollen with tulips, hellebores, hyacinths, daffodils, crocuses and a whole lot more to come. Who can resist picking them or at the very least, in my case, photographing them? Which is what I am attempting to do, again, in my home studio. You can see some new images on my website under "Blooms" and without a doubt, much more on the way.
Happy Spring!!
