Flower Power

I am still excited about photographing flowers; some in their infant bud stages or as a fresh bloom. Others while they begin to fade and take on a different kind of beauty. But no matter what stage of their brief but glorious lives in which I find them, I am always looking for yet another way in which to capture their glorious beauty.
I have posted this recent addition of a 'Donna Lynn' hibiscus in full bloom on Facebook. The colors range from yellow on the petal edges to peach to lavender to burgundy in the center. An as if that wasn't enough beauty for one flower, it is 6" to 7" in diameter, about the size of a generous dessert plate.
I thought I might share it with my FASO friends.
