I had the idea of placing some faded orchid blossoms on a China plate. This was for the "Beauty Fading" collection on this website. The notion seemed unusual but, I thought I'd try it. After a few photos, I reviewed each one, finally selecting one I liked. Then came the title. While I liked the concept, naming it was tricky. After letting it sit for a few months and continually revisiting it, it all came together.
